Description: Abdorrahim Afsar was a renowned poet and calligrapher of the Naseri era (Qajar era). He was the son of Mirza Mohammad Ali Meskin, an Isfahani poet, and the father of Mirza Fathollah Khan Jalali, who was also a poet and calligrapher. Afsar masterfully wrote Nasta’liq script in the style of the great Mir Emad, and was known for his calm demeanor and dervish-like disposition in his interactions with people.
