Biography
Hossein Qullar Aqasi, born in 1890 in Tehran, is one of the founders of Iranian Ghahveh-Khaneh painting. In his scenes, he has used national and religious epics such as Lily and Majnoon, Yusuf and Zuleykha, Bahram Gour and general themes. The painting of Haft Kan Rostam on the entrance of Karim-Kan Zand citadel in Shiraz is one of his surviving works. He died in 1975.
