Biography
Ali Zarifi Esfahani is one of the contemporary artists of Isfahan who was born in 1936 in Esfahan. As a child and teenager, he studied the art of embossing and learned the art from Taghi Pashutan. He has made significant innovations and has engraved beautifully on metals. Zarifi, with his special interest in tree leaves, has created beautiful designs engraved on metal objects. He has been teaching at Art University of Isfahan for several years. His valuable works have been exhibited in domestic and foreign museums such as the Louvre.
