Description: The surfaces of both mirror frames are adorned with colorful floral and bird motifs, executed masterfully in the style typical of the workshops of Ali Ashraf and Aqa Najafali Esfahani. Inside one frame is a finely rendered portrait of Imam Ali (pbuh) without a signature, while the back of the mirror holds a charcoal or lithograph by Abdolhosein Khan Sani’ Homayoun. These two exquisite frames have been featured and sold at several prestigious international auctions, including Sotheby’s in 1994 and Chiswick Auctions in 2023.
