Biography
Samsam ibn Zulfaqar known as Mosaver al-Mamalek, nicknamed by Mossavar Al-Mamalek, is one of the great painters of the late Qajar to early Pahlavi era which numerous works of him have been left in the technique of oil painting, Siyah-Ghalam, and watercolor painting. Including: oil painting that shows Sardar Asad Bakhtiari on horseback which is kept in the Chehelsotun Palace Museum in Isfahan and a painting of the General Mardiros Mardirosian’s bust which is preserved in the museum of Amena perkich Monastery in Isfahan.
