Biography
Mansour Hafezparast was born in 1945 in Isfahan. He learned embossing from the age of seven from his father -was named after him- and he is a embosser for more than 50 years. Examples of his works can be seen in the museums of handicrafts of Sa’ad-Abad Palace, and he is currently a member of the board of the Isfahan Embossers’ Committee. He also revived the construction of astronomical instruments such as astrolabe, celestial sphere, and armillary sphere. He has also participated in several exhibitions abroad, the most prestigious of which was the Helsinki Exhibition in Finland. He has the first A class degree in art.
