Biography

Zainalabedin Mahallati is one of the named calligraphers of Nask and Righa scripts in the late thirteenth and early fourteenth centuries AH. In addition to writing pamphlets and Quranic verses, he made numerous works such as: Sabah devotion, Indi Armaqan, Shatranjia treatise, Sahifa Al-Raba Al-Sajadia, Al-Majma Al-Nourin, Mazhar Al-Anwar Fi Alaem (Volume 3 of Nour Al-Anwar), Pilgrimage of Imamzadeh Yahya in Tehran, devotions in packet size, and the cover of Timaj – Zad Al-Maad with oil cover, the twelve Imams of Kajeh Nasir Al-Din Tousi, and about eighty volumes of the Holly Quran manuscript wich at the end of one volume of it dated 1924.
