Biography

Abdul Razzaq Isfahani was a painter, illuminator and calligrapher from Isfahan. He was a watercolor artist and was skilled in portrait and realistic paintings Apart from watercolor, he was also skilled in oil color and illumination, and he also did well in Nastaliq calligraphy. One of his most prominent works is the image of the burning of Prophet Ibrahim, which appears to have been created during the reign of Mohammad Shah Qajar.
