Biography
Seyed Zia-ud-Din Emami Dehkordi was born in 1922 in Shahrekord. Due to his acquaintance with religious issues, he turned to mystical and religious painting, especially “ illumination”, and invented his own style of painting and miniature called “School of Light”. Zia-ud-Din Emami’s paintings are creative and his style is the style of light in the school of Islamic arts, and most of his paintings are about world creation, Quranic verses, the life of prophets and Imams, and the poems of great poets. Painting on pottery was one of his unique arts. He passed away in 2008.
